TUIO Multiplexer Suite
The TUIO Multiplexer Suite is a system i developed to realize multi-cam multi-touch systems. The basis of all was the open source project CCV from the NUI Group. CCV is based on openFrameworks, so there is a big community where you could find useful information to hack the system. The glue of this system is the incredible TUIO platform from Martin Kaltenbrunner with his reference implementations.
The system is composed of an custom augmented CCV-tracker with Fiducial support and the Multiplexer to bundle different TUIO streams. To better utilize multi-core computers i decided to design the system with the use of multiple instances of CCV instead of make one CCV instance with multi-camera stitching.
The system could be distributed on different computers so it will scale well if you make huge setups with a couple of cameras and computers as every CCV instance grabs one core.
