mobile.multitouch.case was my bachelor thesis work on Media Informatics at the FH-Düsseldorf. The approach was to get into the field of multi-touch development with hardware and software and get me a device to present further multi-touch or surface computing software. I developed a Flight-case equipped with the Diffused Illumination technology.
On the Software site i used CCV as the blob-tracker for finger tracking and made a java frontend with jogl and jBox2d.
I’ve tried to to tap the full potential of multi-touch beside the boring drag/scale/rotate media viewers all around. So i got the idea of some sort of lasso for the little flocks.
